EUROPEAN LANGUAGE PORTFOLIO

The EPL is a personal document promoted by the Council of Europe, in which learning or have learned a language can record their language learning experiences and cultures and reflect on them.

The Portfolio consists of three parts:

- Passport of languages
- Linguistic Biography
- Dossier

What is the Portfolio for?

• To encourage everyone to learn more languages and to continue learning over a lifetime
• To facilitate mobility in Europe through a clear and internationally recognizable language skills
• To promote understanding and tolerance through knowledge of other languages and cultures.
