NATURAL APPROACH

Natural approach is a method of teach the first lenguage.

There are THREE PRECEPTS of the Natural Approach:

 - Comprehensible input (children acquire language only if they urdestand it first).

-       - Low affective filter (children acquire lenguage only if they´re are relaxed).

-     -   Meaningful comunication (children acquire language only if they use it for real purposes).

There are FOUR STAGES of Language Devepment:

•       Preproductive stage (students aren´t prepared to produe language and they begginning to respond in non-verbal ways to show you what the understand).
•        Early production stage (students are able to produce one-word answers and all strategies from the preproductive stage are very important).
•        Speech emergence stage (students begin to speak simple sentences and strategies from the earlier stages are valuable).
•        Developing fluency stage (students are able to communicate their thoughts more completely and strategies from the thrid stage are very valuable).
